Strong Like Bull T Shirt
This t-shirt was created in honor of Jessica’s father, David Lynch who is currently fighting pancreatic cancer. A family physician and longtime supporter and leader at the Chuckanut Health Foundation, he has dedicated his life to improving the health of our community. This shirt stands as a tribute to a favorite saying (said in a deep voice) he delivers to his wife, four daughters, and grandchildren at a moments notice: ‘Strong like Bull’ .
Cancer is a battle no one should fight alone, yet families in our community face the overwhelming stress of not only dealing with a diagnosis, but also the financial strain it brings.
Dr. Theresa Laurendeau, a dedicated Bellingham pathologist at St. Luke’s Community Hospital, saw the struggles cancer patients faced and provided the initial funding to create the Laurendeau Cancer Care Fund at the Chuckanut Health Foundation, which helps Whatcom County cancer patients cover medically necessary expenses.
$20 from every “Strong Like Bull” shirt purchase will help provide much-needed financial relief to cancer patients and their families in Whatcom County in David’s honor.
