Dog Island Sticker
What better way to show your "isle of dogs" spirit than with our new Dog Island stickers?
Guemes Island was originally Dog Island, named by the Samish People who began living here thousands of years before the island was discovered and renamed by Europeans.
The name Dog Island came from the preponderance of Salish Wooldogs the Samish women bred and kept here. The hair of these (now extinct) dogs was used in weaving blankets.
Today, Dog Island is still home to many dogs and dog-loving people, and its true name lives on.
Sticker is approximately 5" at the widest point.
Clyde is holding the sticker on its backer; it is cut to shape.
These are great stickers for water bottles, of course, but you can also slap them on your snowboard, car, helmet, or car-top carrier - you name it! They're UV resistant, colorful, and can handle whatever the weather throws at them. They stand up to the elements and still look great.
